his holiness the 14th dalai lama receives the congressional gold medal
almost a week later, i'll post some photos of our little excursion into dc. it was a fun trip, and always an honor to bask in the radiance of the dalai lama.

OH. MY. GOSH!! What an absolutely memorable event for you to have attended! Lucky, lucky girl! I've only seen the DL once, but it was a dream come true.
