Several years ago I got a 2nd cat. For the first two or three weeks, when he was still a kitten his name was sometimes "Soft Serve" or "Hershey" which was often mixed with or substitued for a variety of my favorite most colorful profanity.

The prior owner of the kitten had fed him only canned food for adult cats. As a result when I got him, one month after moving into my new apt with nice new carpets... the kitten had a bad case of diarrea. Thus the name.

Thankfully he grew out of it.. and I now call him something else.

My niece's name is Loretta, and we call her Lolo. It's fun to say with your tongue pressed, pointed, against the back of your two front teeth.
