Bravo to Carolyn, because I couldn't have answered this question with language suitable for a family newspaper.

although i remain unwillingly childless, i can appreciate that article. i do have a similar challenge with handling all english related activities which means i am wielding sole responsibility of all household, finances, shopping, car repairs, bills, negotiations or citizenly duties in any form really.

i keep telling myself he'll do the same for me when/if we move down to mexico. all this in a multi-cultural marriage in a part of the country that is bas ackwards and people still say things like "white and brown folk mixin' is laik watah and ohillll, they jeeist don!"

so maybe i am getting a small inkling of what it is like to have the constant bombardment and frazzle of responsibility but to the tune of frustrations that knowing my child is in his thirties and much more capable than an infant?

i don't know... a challenge remains a challenge and i must like those or i would not have put myself here. heck yeah, people should be less egocentric and learn to take only their fair share if they want to get kudos from moms! 100% agreed.
