broiling sky

i'm enjoying some huge thunder claps right now. i turned off the air conditioning and opened the windows to this excessively muggy day because i must hear the thunder. i have a feeling that we will just be skirted by the storm. it often happens this way. but for now we are getting some welcome relief from a few sprinkles and a light wind.
