it's the fourth of july, come out and see a live band for free before heading over to the fireworks. dan, will, yax and mark are going to entertain with their rockin' surf music (a la dick dale, the ventures and others) this evening at the main street market's milano at 6:00pm.
i didn't think i liked surf music, but i changed my mind after seeing them. really! plus it is a unique sort of appalachian surf, what with banjo, ukelele and accordian.
they really need you to come out and see them tonight, because they are going to have the audience vote on a name. they can't make up their minds themselves, so the power is vested in you to name charlottesville's premier surf band.
